| More than 100 community woodland groups in Scotland have formed a Community Woodland Association to represent them, to lobby government for more community woodland support and to organise networking activities and information sharing. In February 2003 new land reform legislation was passed by the Scottish Parliament that will make it easier for communities to acquire land, so the community forestry movement is set to grow and grow. |
